A George II period Oak press cupboard dating from c 1750. The top with a pair of doors with shaped fielded panels, replaced H hinges and brass knob handles. The base with two false and two drawers, the whole resting on stile feet. Of joined construction, good condition with various stains, scratches and marks consistent with age and use. Excellent colour and patina. The interior dry and undisturbed. The original wooden coat pegs have been removed. Shelves and or hanging rail can be added for and additional cost of materials plus 50 labour. SOLD
