A George I Oak bureau dating from c 1710. The rectangular top with moulded edge above a fall front with Ogee moulded edge containing a fully fitted interior of serpentine fronted drawers, pigeon holes, central cupboard containing two drawers and central writing well. Below, a thick waist moulding above two short and two long drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, the whole standing on shaped bracket feet. Lovely colour, good condition with various marks and stains consistent with age and use. 1,150
