A fine George II period Walnut pillar Chest of drawers dating from c 1740. The rectangular top with moulded edge above two short and four long Oak lined, ebony and fruitwood strung drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, the whole standing on shaped bracket feet. Good condition, beautiful mellow colour and patina with various minor marks, scratches etc consistent with age and use. 1750
