A Spanish late 17th Century Cedar wood Cabinet on later stand dating from c 1690. The top with moulded edge above a pair of parquetry doors with original brass escutcheons, lock and key and containing a bank of drawers surrounding a central cupboard door containing a further four drawers. The sides with thick feather banding. The solid Cedar base ( probably specially made for this cabinet in the 19th Century) with shaped frieze and turned finials standing on five turned legs supported by turned base stretchers. Excellent restored condition with various minor marks, scratches etc consistent with age and use. 2250
