A Victorian Kingwood and ebonised, marquetry inlaid Jardiniere dating from c 1870. The ebonised rectangular lid with decorative brass handles set within a decorative brass gallery with outer sloped cross banding in Kingwood,protruding rounded corners and brass moulded edge above floral marquetry inlaid frieze panels and corner brass mounts. Below, the tuned fluted legs with brass mounts joined by base stretchers. original Zinc lining. Good condition, some wear to ebonised surface in areas of frequent rubbing and some slight movement in wood of the lid due to plant moisture. 790
