A George II period Walnut Chest on stand dating from c 1750. The top with moulded cornice above two short and three long fruitwood strung drawers with brass swan neck handles. The base with short central drawer flanked by two deep drawers supported on round Oak legs terminating with pad feet. Good condition and colour with various minor marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. The brass handles and escutcheons are George III period replacements. This item splits into two for ease of access and delivery. 1550
