A Queen Anne period figured Walnut Cabinet on chest dating from c 1700. The top with shaped cornice above a pair of figured Walnut cross banded doors with brass escutcheon and hinges containing a fully fitted interior of central cupboard door surrounded by eight drawers, the central door containing a further three short drawers all with brass drop handles. The chest base with two short and two long figured walnut drawers with corresponding cross banding and fitted with brass handles and escutcheons, the whole supported on shaped bracket feet. Excellent condition, beautiful colour and patina with various minor marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Locks to both the main doors and small central interior door have locks fitted and key that turns both locks. This item splits into two sections for ease of access and delivery. 2950
