A small Queen Anne period Burr Walnut, Oak sided Chest on stand dating from c 1700. The top with shaped cornice above two short and three long burr walnut drawers with slanted cross banding and drop brass handles and escutcheons. The base with thick waist moulding above two long burr walnut drawers with corresponding slanted cross banding, the whole supported on Walnut turned feet. Beautiful mellow colour and good condition with various marks, scratches, abrasions etc consistent with age and use. The escutcheons appear to be original but the handles are replacements that have been on this item for some time. This chest splits into two sections for ease of access and delivery. 2950
