An Oak " Turners" chair dating from c 1650. The seat of triangular form and with various profusely turned spindles and supports. These chairs, typical of the 17th Century were constructed to demonstrate the skill of an individual turner. This example is in good original condition and of excellent colour and patina with various minor marks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. 1550
