A George I period Walnut Lowboy dating from c 1720. The rectangular quarter veneered top with feather and cross banded edge above two short and one long correspondingly feather banded drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, the whole standing on cabriole legs terminating with pad feet. Various minor marks consistent with age and use and various restorations. The legs are firm but the rear back left leg has been repaired in the past, fixed in position and left at a slight angle. In addition there has been a repair to a crack left to right on the top (see photo). 650
