An early George III period Mahogany marquetry inlaid Chest of drawers dating from c 1770. The rectangular top with Satin wood stringing and moulded edge above two short and three long drawers with Satinwood strung edge and brass handles and escutcheons, the whole resting on Ogee shaped bracket feet. I would describe the condition as well used with various restorations. Various minor chips to the veneers, dents, scratches etc consistent with heavy wear and age. The handles are period replacements but the escutcheons are original.

Dimensions: 107 cm wide across top, 55 cm deep, 111 cm high
