A French" Restauration " period figured Mahogany brass inlaid and mounted Semainier dating from c 1850. The upper part of the chest with rectangular plinth top with triangular brass inlay above three long brass inlaid drawers with brass handles and escutcheons flanked by Egyptian stylised columns with brass footed base and topped with female figurine in brass. The lower part with two long corresponding drawers flanked by Corinthian brass topped columns, the whole resting on tapering brass strung legs. Excellent condition and colour with various minor marks, scratches chips etc consistent with age and use. All original locks present with original key that turns all locks. 1950
