A Regency period Ebonised Mahogany scroll ended Chaise long dating from c 1805. The scrolled ebonised Mahogany frame with brass decorative mounts resting on slayed brass capped legs. The upholstery in ivory patterned fabric. Regency period of the period immediately after 1805 was often ebonised and sometimes decorated with a naval theme. The Ebonisation was to commemorate the death of Nelson at the battle of Trafalgar in October 1805. This Chaise is in excellent firm condition and displays various minor marks, scratches etc consistent with age and use. The upholstery is not original but is in good condition. 1,490
